This smaller subdivision is a hidden jewel with how the developer built the subdivision around a small lake and playground. It really has a nice peaceful feel as the subdivision backs up to the Hunt Center on one side, and Womble park on the other.
Lakeside features smaller affordable homes ranging from 900 sf ranches, up to the 2,000 sf 2-stories. For such an affordable subdivision most of the lots are around a quarter acre in size. The development started in 1998 and only took a couple years to sell out.
Lakeside does have a HOA to help maintain the common areas.
